P.O. Box 177 - Pierz, MN. 56364

Club Background

In 1992 a local group of concerned 4-wheelers united to form what is now known as the Eastern Morrison County 4-Wheeler Club. The clubs mission statement is" to promote the responsible use of 4-wheelers and to develop recreational trails".

The club currently has over 100 members and is sponsoring the "Soo Line Trail" from Genola east to Millelacs County. We currently take care of 16 miles of trail. The Soo Line Trail is owned by Morrison County and is a multi-use recreation trail.

In 1993 the club purchased 3 acres of  land on the Hillman Creek, about 5 miles east of Genola. This land was dedicated a park for recreational use. The property has a circle entry and exit and is located on the back side of a granite pile that was made during the early days of the railroad track development. The park has a 15x20 insulated shelter, picnic tables, a outdoor grill and a wonderful view of the Hillman Creek. The Eastern Morrison County 4-Wheeler Club meets the first Thursday of the month at the shelter building throughout the summer, meetings start at 8pm, all guests are welcome.

The Soo Line Trail is open for 4-Wheelers from April 1st to October 31st each year, it is a wonderful trail with unique things to offer besides being the beginning of the longest 4-Wheeler trail developed in Minnesota, the Soo Line Trail runs from Genola to Superior Wisconsin.

We welcome you to enjoy this treasure.
